EuroCandi GmbH – Working in Germany

EuroCandi

The name EuroCandi is made up of the words “EUROpean CANDIdates” and stands for what we believe in: an open, free German labor market in which employees from the EU and third-country nationals with the appropriate qualifications can demonstrate their talent. In times of increasingly standardized degrees and the possibility of learning languages or building up knowledge independently on the Internet, labor market migration has become much easier. And yet skilled and unskilled workers from other countries often lack an understanding of how and where to look for suitable jobs in Germany. Numerous questions arise: What documents do I need to apply with? What applications, permits or translations are required? How do I get a German tax number and how do I become a member of a German health insurance fund? How can I find affordable accommodation near my future employer? Even refugees who have already received a residence permit in Germany have sometimes never before created a CV according to German standards or even applied for a job with a personalized cover letter. However, the majority of German companies are small and micro-enterprises that simply lack the capacity to actively pursue international recruiting.

What is it all about?

Due to demographic change, the German economy urgently needs an influx of skilled and unskilled workers. Particularly affected are so-called bottleneck professions, e.g. nursing professions, medical professions, professions in the construction industry, professional drivers and IT specialists.

EuroCandi GmbH would like to make an important contribution to putting the German economy back on a better footing. In addition, our aim is to reduce the burden on the state and thus ultimately on German taxpayers by actively promoting the integration of existing immigrants into the German labor market.

How does EuroCandi work?

Applicants create an individual skills profile (free of charge!) using the form. The upload of a curriculum vitae is not required, as this existing curriculum vitae does not always contain the information that is really decisive for a future German employer. Future employers attach particular importance to applicants’ German language skills, certificates and qualifications, as well as their individual strengths and professional experience.

EuroCandi uses this information to create a candidate data profile and searches the Internet for suitable positions using the latest technology. Applicants who have previously indicated what kind of jobs they are interested in are then offered a large number of vacancies without providing any personal data. In order to get to know offered applicants, a potential employer undertakes to pay a fee if an employment subject to social security contributions is later concluded. You can find out more about the conditions for companies here, on our information page for companies.

What does EuroCandi cost for applicants?

EuroCandi’s service is completely free of charge for applicants, as the placement fee is paid by the future employers. You can find out more about EuroCandi’s free services for applicants here, on the information pages for candidates.
